Bastian Scharnagl
Hi, I’m Bastian Scharnagl, a researcher dedicated to bridging the gap between AI theory and real-world deployment.
Born in Tirschenreuth, my fascination with technology began in childhood and eventually led me to a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently I am working as a Research Assistant at Hof University of Applied Sciences. I would describe myself as curious, disciplined, and persevering, with a fondness for reflecting on various layers of abstraction.
Focus Areas:
- Machine Learning: Neural architectures and pattern representation.
- System Design: Efficient, robust implementations of hardware and software.
- Analysis: Exploring limits of logic, optimization, and complex systems.
